# v0.2.18 # { "Depends": "py-genlayer:1jb45aa8ynh2a9c9xn3b7qqh8sm5q93hwfp7jqmwsfhh8jpz09h6" } """ PatchrailRelease — the semantic decision keeper of a software release train. Trust model: a client and a builder freeze a versioned acceptance rail (a fixed set of payment-bearing gates) before work starts. The builder then submits immutable release-candidate (RC) evidence. For each gate, GenLayer validators independently fetch the repository/deployment/release-notes/test evidence, independently classify it against the gate's criterion, and must reach exact agreement on the material fields (finding, commit_match, deployment_relation, grounded evidence) before a gate is recorded SATISFIED. This contract never moves value. It only decides bounded gate findings and exposes them, read-only, to PatchrailVault — which is the only contract that ever custodies or moves GEN. If a single centralized operator picked these findings instead of GenLayer consensus, the trust model materially fails: the operator could fabricate "quality passed" or "deployment matches RC" and there would be no independent check before real milestone money moves. Cross-contract interaction with PatchrailVault is read-only (`.view()`) in both directions. This is a deliberate choice: only `.view()` cross-contract calls are exercised in this codebase's proven-compatible pattern, so no value-safety-relevant logic depends on an unverified write/emit call timing between two Intelligent Contracts.
